High-quality service
in an eco-friendly workshop

To ensure that we can service your plate heat exchangers to the highest quality, we carry out the following process in a purpose-built workshop in Balatonfűzfő.

1.

On-site dismantling and removal

Our experts will assess the possible cause of the failure on site, dismantle the plate heat exchanger and transport the stack of plates to our workshop.
2.

Cleaning

The old gaskets are removed from the plates, which are then subjected to chemical cleaning, depending on their application and material. Acid and alkaline baths are used to loosen the deposits on the plates. The waste water generated during the cleaning process is purified using an automatic waste water purifier, therefore only clean water below the limit value is discharged into the sewer. The plates are removed from the vats and cleaned with a high-pressure water washer.
3.

Drying

Clean plates are kept in a drying chamber at the right temperature.

Paint penetration test

To find cracks and small holes on the plates, we perform a paint penetration, crack and hole corrosion test, during which we cover the plates with a special paint so that any paint bleed-through is clearly visible on the other side of the plate.
5.

Correcting plates

We check the plates, minor deformations are corrected and repaired to ensure they are the perfect shape. As we keep many plates on stock, in case replacement is needed, plates are immediately available.
6.

Installing of new gaskets

A gasket of the appropriate material grade for the plate and for the application is attached to the plate. This can be done by a snap-on or adhesive method. Gaskets to be fixed by adhesive are glued on with a special adhesive used for this purpose. The plate bundle is pressed until the adhesive bonds to achieve perfect adhesion.
7.

Quality control

Each plate goes through a quality check before being reinstalled into the plate heat exchanger unit.
8.

Returning and reassembling

Once the refurbished stack of plates has been returned, the frame is cleaned, the beam and spindles are lubricated and the heat exchanger is assembled professionally.
9.

Pressure test

The heat exchanger is pressure tested to ensure that it is guaranteed to work well after reinstallation, and then returned to production. We document the work carried out, issue a pressure test report and a contractor's declaration. On request, we add a heat-resistant sticker to the equipment indicating the date and details of the service carried out.

We offer warranty for our service work, and the plates and gaskets we've installed.
